What We Believe
Nella località Colmo del comune di Dolceacqua i fratelli Ascari hanno iniziato nel 2010 un provvidenziale recupero di terreni incolti e abbandonati da decenni, impiantando poi un ettaro di vigna esclusivamente con uva rossese.
Oggi la superficie vitata è raddoppiata, con un potenziale di crescita di altri quattro ettari, che saranno messi a dimora via via che l’azienda consoliderà la sua presenza sul mercato.
L’attività agricola e tutte le fati di vinificazione sono condotte personalmente a Alex Ascari per una produzione che si aggira intorno alle 6000 bottiglie.
In cantina si esegue una vinificazione tradizionale in rosso, in acciaio, con una settimana di sosta delle bucce.
The Land
The Riviera di Ponente is a strip of hilly land in the western part of Liguria, facing the Mediterranean to the south and protected to the north by the last offshoots of the Alps. Cultivated on impervious hills overlooking the sea, the native vines and olive groves know how to give unique products of great value, with a strong territorial identity.
The work of our vine and olive growers is a true heroic act, carried out mostly by hand, aimed at quality and adopting sustainable and selective techniques.
The wine and food tradition of western Liguria is ancient and the wine and olive-growing sector in recent years expresses strong dynamism and an orientation towards excellence, now recognised both in Italy and abroad.
